About ScotDigital

Clarity • Control • Optimisation

ScotDigital helps business owners bring clarity, control and optimisation to the digital systems their organisations rely on.

Many businesses now depend on a growing number of digital platforms — websites, domains, Google listings, reviews, analytics, advertising accounts, email systems and wider business tools. These systems are often introduced gradually over time by different providers, and as the business grows, ownership, access and structure can become unclear.

ScotDigital exists to help business owners step back from that complexity, understand how their digital environment is structured, and ensure the business remains in control of the assets it depends on.

About Michael Fradley

ScotDigital was founded by Michael Fradley, who has spent more than thirty years helping organisations understand and manage the technology and digital systems they rely on.

His background includes corporate IT with Menzies Distribution, consultancy work with Design Computer Aids Ltd, large-scale internet infrastructure works including Express Gifts Ltd, and ioko365, and more than twenty years running his own managed services business supporting small and medium-sized organisations.

Across all of these roles, one pattern appeared repeatedly: digital complexity rarely arrives all at once. It builds gradually as new platforms, providers and accounts are introduced over time.

Why ScotDigital exists

Many businesses struggle because the digital systems that support them, have become difficult to see clearly.

Websites, Google listings, domains, hosting, analytics, reviews and advertising accounts often sit across different providers and platforms. Important assets may be controlled by agencies, developers, former staff or legacy accounts created years earlier.

ScotDigital was created to address that problem in a clear, structured and independent way.

A simple principle

Digital assets should belong to the business that relies on them.

Domains, websites, Google listings, analytics, advertising accounts and key digital systems should remain under the ownership and control of the business itself.

ScotDigital does not take ownership of client digital assets. Its role is to help business owners understand how their systems work, structure them properly, and ensure the business retains full ownership and access.

How ScotDigital works

ScotDigital works as an independent digital governance advisor for local service businesses.

That means working alongside existing providers rather than replacing them. Your IT company, web developer, marketing agency, bookkeeper or other specialist suppliers may all continue to play their part. ScotDigital helps ensure the wider digital environment is clearly understood, properly structured, and working in the interests of the business.

The aim is simple:

  • clear ownership
  • better visibility
  • better decisions
